Priory Combs Courtis looking to recruit aWaking Nights - Support Workerto join our team. This is a full time position.
- Salary: £13.20 an hour
- Full time 37.5 hours a week. 8pm - 8:30am, 2 week rolling rota

Main duties of the job
As aSupport Worker,you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of our residents and tenants. You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, youll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.
- Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care
- Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes
- Assisting with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals
- Assistance and support to attend medical appointments
- Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff
- Supporting the development of important family connections and liaising with specialists, including Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teams
- Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities that promote involvement and personal growth
