Job summary

This is a hybrid role so will require you to live close to the hospital/clinic to be able to attend face to face appointments.

Bristol Park Clinic provides fast access to expert outpatient treatment for a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress and personality disorders.

Main duties of the job

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

You will also;

  • Provide CBT-based assessment, formulation and treatment for people experiencing mental health difficulties.
  • Undertake and manage clinical assessment loads.
  • Attend monthly clinical supervision to develop knowledge, skills and promote access to clinical excellence.
  • Ensure high levels of clinical governance, including all documentation as required by the service.

  • You should hold a doctoral qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology with BABCP accreditation or be working towards it, or be a registered health professional with BABCP accreditation. You must have assessed experience working as a qualified CBT therapist or experience delivering CBT treatment within a mental health setting. Additionally, you should be capable of delivering interventions to a wide range of clients.
