Here at Burgess Hill our aim is to help patients to live a happier, more independent life. Burgess Hill is a purpose-built hospital set in attractive spacious grounds, in a rural setting within easy reach of the A23 and local amenities.
Priory Hospital Burgess Hill provides critical/psychiatric acute care for males with complex mental illnesses.

Youll be in all daily meetings and involved in all relevant decision-making. Your ideas and expertise will be heard as we all work together to provide the best for our patients.
As well as giving you the flexibility to work around your life, we want to make sure you feel at home at Priory. Youll be partnered with your own dedicated line manager who will check in regularly to ensure you have the training and support you need. Depending on the site youre working at, youll receive either free or heavily subsided meals and almost all of our sites offer free parking. You will also be entitled to annual leave. Many of our Bank Mental Health Nurses have progressed or transitioned into permanent positions with us, so this could be an option if your situation changes in the future.
What youll need
We ask that youre a fully registered nurse with active NMC PIN and that you have some experience working in a similar clinical environment. Aside from that, all of our people must show integrity and compassion in their work and share our goal of delivering excellent care for our people.
Bank staff may be paid at the rate of £19.89 if they do not: Work on average a minimum of 4 shifts per 4-week period Have 95% compliance with training modules (online or offered in person) at any one time Cannot have been Priory permanent staff in past 3 months
