Job summary
The post holder will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide neurodiversity assessments for adults.
Assessments will be carried out in line with relevant clinical pathways as outlined within Be U Norfolks operational procedure. The post holder will demonstrate an attitude which respects and values clients and the people important to them.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dedicated professional to deliver a high-quality, effective, and efficient autism diagnostic service for adults across Norfolk. In this role, you will assist with diagnostic assessments, referral screenings, and report formulation, ensuring clear and accessible information is provided to clients, families, and professionals. You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, providing education, support, and guidance while ensuring assessments take place in appropriate settings to meet individual needs. Regular liaison with your line manager will be essential to provide caseload updates and ensure service consistency.
As part of this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of integrated care pathways, participate in clinical and managerial supervision, and maintain accurate client records in line with ABL Health policies. You will also support service development, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to research-based best practices in client care. Additionally, you will take on delegated project management responsibilities, monitor clinical practice against professional standards, and ensure ongoing service evaluation and enhancement
