Job summary
The purpose of ABLs Be U Norfolk service is to support adults who are on the autism pathway through support in challenges they may be experiencing, build on strengths and formally assess where required.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dedicated professional to deliver a high-quality, effective, and efficient autism diagnostic service for adults across Norfolk. In this role, you will assist in the diagnostic process, conduct referral screenings, and provide essential information to referrers, clients, and carers. You will be responsible for formulating clear, comprehensive diagnostic reports for various audiences, including clients, families, and professionals. Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, you will ensure assessments are conducted in appropriate settings, tailored to client needs. Regular liaison with your line manager will be essential to update on caseloads and service delivery.
As part of this role, you will engage in clinical and managerial supervision, contribute to integrated care pathways, and uphold best practices by maintaining accurate client records in accordance with ABL Health policies. You will also play a key role in setting and maintaining client care standards, based on evidence-based practice and research findings. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating clinical practice, identifying areas for service improvement, and supporting staff in developing innovative approaches to client care.
