We are seeking an experienced and confident Ophthalmology Nurse to join our dedicated Glaucoma Outpatient Clinic team in Naunton. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality eye care and supporting patients living with chronic glaucoma.

We are seeking an experienced and confident Ophthalmology Nurse to join our dedicated Glaucoma Outpatient Clinic team in Naunton. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality eye care and supporting patients living with chronic glaucoma.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide specialist clinical support within a busy outpatient environment, carrying out high-quality assessments and contributing to efficient patient flow and excellent clinical outcomes.

Essential Clinical Skills

Applicants must be competent and confident in the following:

  • Comprehensive history taking (general and ophthalmic)

  • Visual acuity assessment (Snellen / LogMAR)

  • Slit-lamp examination of the anterior segment

  • Goldmann Applanation Tonometry (GAT)

  • Van Herick angle assessment

  • Pachymetry

  • Safe assessment and administration of dilating drops

Who Were Looking For

A motivated clinician with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously within a specialist setting.Prior experience in glaucoma services is highly desirable.
