Physiotherapist Orthopaedic Ward (Weekends Only)

Location: Manchester

Start Date:Mid to Late November 2025

Contract Type:Weekend Work Only

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our ward based team in Manchester. This role focuses on providing high quality care to patients on orthopaedic wards during weekends.

Youll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, ensuring safe and effective discharge planning and promoting optimal patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and treatments for orthopaedic inpatients.
• Work collaboratively with nursing, medical, and therapy colleagues to facilitate patient progress.
• Contribute to discharge planning and ensure timely patient flow.
• Maintain accurate and up to date clinical documentation.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration (essential)
• Proven ward-based physiotherapy experience
• Strong background in orthopaedics (essential)
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• Ability to work independently over weekends
• Must have UK and NHS experience

Start Date:

Mid to late November 2025
