Location: Basingstoke
We are a training practice and are keen to support our team through additional training meaning lots of opportunities to be involved in developing colleagues. The are a host of specialist clinics and hubs across the sites, including womens health, vasectomy, frailty, leg ulcer, diabetes, respiratory, mental health, paediatrics. Our community nursing team are based on site as are the community midwives supporting closer working. We have regular consultant led MDTs for mental health, diabetes and paediatrics with a direct access on site Consultant paediatrician clinic monthly.

We are looking for a forwarding thinking Paramedic with an attention to detail and an ability to work autonomously within their professional boundaries.
You will be an autonomous practitioner working independently and in conjunction with other health care professionals. Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care. A non-medical prescriber, working ideally within primary care with a sound knowledge of long term and minor illness conditions.
It is preferred that the ideal candidate is a level 7 (Msc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or an MSC course to ACP status may also be considered.
The post holder is an experienced Paramedic who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
