We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to join the team at HMP Millsike, a brand new state of the art Category C male prison in Full Sutton. HMP Millsike has capacity of nearly 1500 males, and houses inmates within 2 years of their release date.
We are looking for someone with experience of leading a team, used to dealing with high volumes of data, and ideally knows how to use SystmOne! This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the admin function, which supports the wider healthcare team on site, ensuring that patients receive the best quality care, and the healthcare team are fully supported. Hours: This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00. Salary: This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary of £39,019 - £44,183 per annum - depending on experience. #LI-AB1Main duties of the job
As our new Business Manager, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
- Have overall responsibility for the administration team, directly line managing our Administration Lead
- Gather and collate high volumes of data, and use this data for reporting purposes for the SMT and wider business, as well as external stakeholders
- Be a key part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) onsite, attending meetings at a site and regional level
- Manage access and permissions for SystmOne
- Initiate and track prison vetting for new starters as well as oversee recruitment and HR activities
- Have oversight and verifying the accuracy and completeness of all patient data

Our new Business Manager will have:
- Previous management or leadership experience - this is a management position so we are looking for someone who has lead a team before
- Experience of using a patient records system, such as SystmOne (highly preferable) or EMIS
- Experience in, and knowledge of using high levels of data, producing reports and database maintenance
- Any prison / secure setting experience would be a bonus!
