We are looking for an experienced Female specialist practitioner to work within non-custodial supporting our Liaison and diversion, Reconnect & MHTR team.Hours: Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm
Location: Doncaster hub with travel required across South YorkshireSalary: This position is full time and you will receive a salary of £43,609 to £49,175 depending on experience

As our new Practitioner, you will:
- Be able to demonstrate an advanced knowledge and skills within your defined area of expertise, to critically appraise, evaluate and apply knowledge of theoretical frameworks, research evidence and policy within the specialist area of practice.
- You will be required to undertake assessments of vulnerable females who have been detained in police or Court custody and leaving prison and share relevant information to assist and inform the Police, Court, Crown Prosecution and probation services.
- The female specialist will promote the welfare of women both internal within PPG and external to wider organisations.
- Will contribute to the development of the non-custodial female pathway by developing links with local services and agencies who work with women to address gender specific needs and to develop referrals pathways into services to enable collaborative working with organisations to reduce health inequalities within this specific targeted group

Qualifications and skills required:
- Evidence of working with females with complex needs for a minimum of 3 years.
- Evidence of appropriate qualification related to relevant specialism such as IDVA, ISVA social work, midwifery, health visitor etc
- Evidence of providing case oversight / supervision
- Evidence of working with a trauma informed approach
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills including report writing
