We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs a category B Prison located in West London

Hours
The site currently offers a 24-hour service and shift patterns
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm with some adhoc weekends requiredSalary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £52,790per annum depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Pharmacy Manager, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Be involved in the planning, organisation and delivery of all pharmacy operational services including dispensary services and treatment rooms.
- Lead the team of pharmacy support workers in the day to day provision of pharmacy services.
- Work with the Pharmacist to ensure the service is represented by staff in a professional manner at all times.
- Promote a safe service and work closely with all Prison Healthcare Team members to meet the needs of patients

- GPhC registered Pharmacist Technician
- Available to newly qualified pharmacists and beyond
- Management and leadership experience
- Procurement and audit experience (desirable).
- Relevant post qualifying experience working within a pharmacy environment.
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
