Main duties of the job

You will work as a member of the administration team to provide a comprehensive administration/booking role to the Unit, ensuring that all communications with patients is in a professional and courteous manner, which endorses the patient centred approach of the team.  As well as assisting in the operational function of the Unit. Providing a professional and patient focused booking and administration role, supporting the clinical team within the Hospital as well as provide a professional reception service, greeting patients on entry to the hospital. Must be comfortable working the following hours (including evenings and weekends)

7.15-15.15 7.15-17.45 10.00-18.00 14.00-22.00 11.30-22.00   Working 3 X 7.5 hr shifts per week. Days will not be set, they will be allocated on a rota basis so applicants must have flexibility.

About us

You will be an experienced Receptionist/Administrator with

  • Previous experience in a similar setting
  • A sincere desire to be part of a team that takes great pride in helping patients
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of IT and software packages (Word/Excell)
  • Excellent Communication skills (Written and Phone)
  • Ability to prioritise and work on own initiative
