Inpatient Ward Registered Nurse

Job summary

Are you an Registered Nurse with Inpatient experience looking for a new role? Practice Plus Group Southampton are looking for a NMC registered nurse to join their team.

You will be part of a close knit collaborative team who pride themselves in providing the highest standard of care to our patients and their families. Our inpatients team is comprised of experienced nurses and healthcare assistants supported by our welcoming Ward Manager, Nicola.

Main duties of the job

All of our surgeries are planned well in advance so you will be able to plan your week with ease knowing your work schedule wont change. Your sound clinical and Infection control knowledge combined with your ability to solve problems and think both literally and laterally will enable you to coach and support others in your team. We encourage sharing of best practice across our site to develop your skills and take advantage of our excellent clinical leadership knowledge. Due to the nature of an Inpatients Ward, shifts with be comprised of days, evenings and nights. Unsocial hours will be compensated on top of the advertised base salary. The successful candidate my be asked to work on the day ward when required.

About us

• NMC registered Nurse 
• Ideally with experience caring for surgical inpatients or history working in an appropriate ward setting.
• At least 2 years post basic experience
