We have an exciting opportunity for a Substance Misuse Clinical Lead to join our Substance Misuse team at HMP Leicester, a category B Prison located in Leicestershire 

The Substance Misuse Clinical Lead will manage a team of 4, which are 2 Nurses, 1 Healthcare Assistant and 1 Admin.   Interviews will be held Tuesday 8th January.    HMP Leicester is a male prison with a capacity of 846 and offers the following: 
  • Free Car Parking 
  • Training Opportunities 
  • City Centre Based 

Hours

  • Monday - Friday
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 8am - 4pm 

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary is between £51,643 - £58,012 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Substance Misuse Clinical Lead your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Provide clinical expertise and expert advice for primary care services throughout the prison to drive up clinical performance.
  • Deliver Lead the team to deliver, non-judgemental care that is safe, high quality, patient centred whilst meeting CQC requirements, following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.
  • Inspire Excellence in your colleagues by pro-actively leading the service and motivating the team recognising that our workforce is our most valuable asset. You will forge strong links with our partners and stakeholders, providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within and feel proud of.
  • Promote Best practice, clinical supervision, evidence based care and continuous quality improvement embedding a culture of reflection and shared learning.
  • Share Knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care supporting your clinical and non-clinical colleagues to do a great job.
