Job summary
We are seeking committed General Practitioners to join our Out of Hours service, delivering highquality, facetoface urgent care across our primary care centres in Richmond, Wandsworth and Kingston. This role offers flexibility, variety and the opportunity to support patients at times when access to care matters most. #LI-MS1 You will provide timely assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients presenting with urgent primary care needs. This includes inperson consultations, telephone and video assessments, and home visits where clinically appropriate. Working autonomously within your professional competencies, you will ensure care is delivered in line with GMC standards, NHS England guidance and local clinical protocols. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to safe, effective and evidencebased care, supporting colleagues and helping maintain realtime service resilience. Consultations are recorded using the Adastra electronic medical record system, and remote working options may be discussed with the local Medical Lead. Main duties of the job
- Providing safe and effective urgent care assessments in OOH and inhours settings - Conducting facetoface consultations, telephone triage, video assessments and home visits - Planning care, prescribing, treating and referring patients as clinically appropriate - Working autonomously within your professional scope and competencies - Supporting clinicians across the integrated urgent care service - Documenting all consultations using Adastra - Communicating with clinical and operational teams to maintain service safety - Selecting and requesting shifts through our online scheduling system
About us
- Current GMC registration as a General Practitioner - Vocational Training Certificate or Certificate of Equivalence - Full membership of a recognised medical indemnity organisation - Inclusion on the National Medical Performers List - Experience in primary care home visiting, triage and facetoface consultations - Ability to deliver holistic, patientcentred care - Experience working in OOH or CAS environments - Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team - Commitment to GMC Codes of Conduct and NHS England requirements
