Here at Practice Plus Group, we have an excellent opportunity to join our team as aClinical Advisorandbuild on yourNursing or Paramedic experienceand continue to deliver outstanding patient care without the physical demandof acute work.
We offer competitive rates, equivalent to band 7 and band 8a. Typically, a Clinical Advisor could earn anywherebetween £51,400 to £56,140 working full time equivalent of 37.5 hours per week.
You`ll receive:
- Pay:£24.47per hour(7am-11pm) and£27.83per hour(11pm-7am), with further pay enhancements of£30.60per hourwhen workingbetween Friday 18:00 to Monday 7:00am. Please note that the weekend rate is guaranteed but it isnot contractual, it is just an incentive for working unsociable hours
- Any training hours will be paid at£24.47per hour
- 25 days annual leave, increasing with service up to 28 days per year + bank holidays.

Main duties of the job
- You will be required to speak with patients and providing them withtelephone triageusing the NHS Pathways systems.
- Use of yourclinical knowledgewill bekeyin order tomake decisionson the mostappropriate actionto take as well ashomecare adviceto callers.
- In 111 we get calls about anything and everything, henceno two-days will be the same.However, youwill receive a lot of support from the software systems as well as your team.

- Full-TimeMonday-Friday (9:30am-5pm) for 4 weeks
- Part-TimeTues, Weds, Thurs (6pm-9.30pm) and Sat-Sun (9:30am-5pm) for 6 weeks
What your typical day looks like
You`ll be trained on NHS Pathways systems, a recognisable licence that you`ll receive on completion of training. Our two training options are:
You must be able to attend every training day. This is followed by a further eight weeks support before you can be signed off to work on your own.
About us
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Significant post registration training/consolidation and experience
- 2 years experience in adult acute or primary/community care
- Strong understanding of patient management in primary or secondary care
- Triage/telephone advice experience
- Clinical decision making capabilities ability to demonstrate critical thinking
- Experience of working independently
We are looking for:
- UK Registered Nurse (NMC) or Paramedic (HCPC) with appropriate post-registration acute Primary Care experience.
- Excellentlistening and communicationskills, with good IT and keyboard skills.
