Main duties of the job

You will be working as part of a friendly, professional and expert team supported by our Pharmacy Lead, Gemma, to assist in the provision a pharmacy service for inpatients, outpatients and day patients using the hospital. This will include providing professional, accurate and high quality advice to services across the hospital to ensure legal, safe and effective medicines optimisation.   You will also provide assurance to the senior management team that medicines use and management is safe and effective.   This vacancy is for a bank contract, offering primarily 4 hours on Saturday's 8:30 to 12:30.  There will be an opportunity for additional hours to cover sickness and annual leave.   We are one of the UK largest independent sector healthcare providers and work in close partnership with the NHS to deliver more than 50 services throughout the UK. You will be an experienced GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician or an Assistant, ideally with experience working in a hospital environment but this is not essential.    We will support you to help you grow in your role and take your career in the direction you want to go.
