 We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP Onley a category C training prison and HMP Rye Hill Category B prison, based in Rugby, Northamptonshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive healthcare team, with a site expansion due in 2026. Within this role you would be responsible for developing a full Psychology service working along side the integrated mental health team. The successful applicant will clinically supervise 2 Assistant Psychologist and work with patients who have a broad range of complex presentations. The role would be suit an experienced Psychologist familiar with working with adult mental health presentations, neurodiversity and complex trauma. Suitable applicants must be familiar with trauma informed approaches and enjoy working as part of a team.
 Hours
 Monday to Friday 9am-5pm  2.5 days at each site in the same geographical location, we are able to offer flexibility with working hours 
Salary 
 This is a full time role offering up to £68,376 per annum - depending on experience.

- Our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs
- Support from the wider Psychological Therapies team
- Support with ISW training
- Post-doctoral training- supervision
Main duties of the job
  As a qualified, HCPC registered Psychologist, your responsibilities will vary. You will
   - Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) in the form of training, supervision and reflective practice
- Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
- Deliver and oversee the delivery of 1:1  psychological interventions and group intervention as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme
- Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required
- Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation and research profile as appropriate

 Qualifications required
   - Full HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist
- Proven experience in Clinical/ Forensic or Counselling Psychology
- Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients
- Experience working with psychological Trauma
- Excellent communication skills
- Team Player
