This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours a week with flexible working hours available.Main duties of the job
As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, youll play an essential role in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective imaging services to our patients. You will:
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring exceptional standards of patient care and safety.
- Work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team to manage your examination workload efficiently.
- Adhere to all IRMER 2017 and IRR 2017 regulations, maintaining safe radiation practices and quality assurance processes.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Support theatre imaging using C-arm systems and digital radiography while maintaining ALARP radiation safety standards.
- Contribute to service improvement through clinical audit, quality assurance, and participation in governance activities.
- Take part in continuous professional development, keeping your HCPC registration current and your skills up to date.
Youll be based primarily at Portsmouth or Havant, but flexibility across nearby sites may occasionally be required.

You will have:
- BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or DCR(R) (or equivalent qualification).
- HCPC registration.
- A sound knowledge of radiographic techniques and safe radiation practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work flexibly within a small, supportive team and adapt to changing demands.
- A commitment to continuous learning and development.
