We have an exciting opportunity for an Unscheduled Care Lead join our Unscheduled Care team at
at HMP Thameside, a category B Prison located in Greenwich, South-East London.
In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.
Hours
This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 16:00.
Salary
You'll receive an annual salary up to £60,926 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As an Unscheduled Care Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Provide Leadership and line management for those within the Unscheduled care team.
- Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients by seeking out, listening to and acting on feedback so that patient engagement is at the centre of service delivery.
- You will also provide day to day operational service delivery and data which has integrity, in a timely manner to meet commissioner expectations.
- Deliver excellence in all areas of your role. Deliver non-judgemental, compassionate care within the prison that is safe, high quality and in line with CQC requirements. This will be achieved through adherence to policies and procedures and compliance with statutory responsibilities whilst driving excellence.
- Promote best practice in the field of unscheduled care, triage and emergency response.

Requirements
- Degree or appropriate equivalent level of experience or clinical qualification
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of working in CQC or equivalent registered services such as HMIP
- Experience of client management or meeting commissioner expectations
- Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of clinical governance
