We have an exciting opportunity for an Inpatient Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Wakefield, a category A Prison located in West Yorkshire.

0715-1900 days
1900-0715 nights
Potential weekend and bank holiday cover.
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £40,211per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As an Inpatient Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.

Lead the development of individualised patients care plans, whilst collaboratively working alongside the inpatient team and championing clinical excellence.

Support patients on a daily basis to achieve their activities of daily living to ensure they have the best quality of life possible, ensuring collaborative delivery.

Ensure quality care planning and continuity of care is achieved through improving relationships and communication with partners and other services.

Requirements- NMC registered nurse Adult
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
