We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Nurse to join our Primary Care Team at HMP Garth
HMP Garth has a capacity of around 800 males and is a category B Prison located in Lancashire.
HMP Garth Offers:

Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week - Night only
- 2 week rolling rota
- Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 7.30pm - 7.45pm
- Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 7.30pm - 7.45am
Salary
This position is full time and you will receive an annual salary of between £33232 - £40211 per annum depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As our new Night Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients
- Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback
- Undertake medication rounds
- Dispense controlled medication
- Attend emergency response situations
- Deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group

Qualifications required:
- Registered nurse Adult
- Current professional qualification (NMC)
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
