This new and exciting role within our National Team is to support the existing team with Resource Administration tasks helping us to quickly and efficiently get our staff ready to start working within the National Homeworking Clinicians Team and ensuring the staff rotas are proactively filled to deliver a smooth service to our patients.
This is a mostly remote based role, with one or two days a week in one of our Integrated Urgent Care offices; London, Reading, Devon, Bristol, Ipswich or West Midlands. Occasional travel to various Practice Plus Group sites across the UK, including Ipswich where a large portion of the team is based.As the largest independent provider of NHS services, Practice Plus Group have improved and simplified access to non-emergency health care, reducing pressures on other services and staff. We enjoy offering patients, where applicable a full range of services, including specialist advice from allied health professionals, direct booking into primary care centres and referrals to community, primary and secondary care services.
Main duties of the job
- Rota Management: Create clinical rotas to ensure adequate cover across Integrated Urgent Care (IUC)
- Filling Rotas: Proactively fill vacant shifts by liaising with clinicians. Using the allocation wizard and web booking on rota master.
- Compliance: Ensure all clinicians meet compliance requirements and maintain accurate records.
- Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new clinicians, ensuring they are fully trained and compliant before their first shift.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical staff to ensure smooth rota management.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals and support each other in managing the rota effectively.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as required by the service, including answering phones, filing, and other tasks. Reporting: Compile and manage databases and spreadsheets, and produce internal and external reports as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify and report any potential risks, such as staff shortages, to the WFPRM.
- Training: Attend regular training sessions and stay updated with new protocols and procedures.

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload with a flexible approach to changing demands
- Fully computer literate with the ability to manage and manipulate database information.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills to facilitate effective rota cover.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Previously having worked within a healthcare setting
- Experience using Rota Master and Adastra
