We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Director of Clinical Pathways to join our National Clinical Leadership team within Health in Justice. Your role will be to support the provision of innovative, energetic, patient focused care and in particular you will provide strategic leadership in delivering agreed service development projects.

 

We are looking for applicants with a good understanding of the aspirations for secure environments and the non-custodial sector and who are able to find positive solutions for the challenges being faced in both healthcare and the wider environment.

The ideal applicant will have a good understanding of the sector dynamics at both a National and Regional level, as well as an understanding of the strategic direction of the HiJ clinical service line.

 

Hours

Monday to Friday, remote role with travel required across regional locations.

 

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £85,000 per annum - depending on experience.

    Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

Main duties of the job

As a Deputy Director of Clinical Pathways, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

  • provide leadership in the development, delivery and embedding of service improvement projects in order to ensure the consistent delivery of high quality, safe and cost-effective care for patients within the Health and Justice service line.
  • continuously work to improve the healthcare provided to a complex patient group.
  • develop and implement project plans, leading communications and effectively monitoring progress.
  • provide professional leadership to all colleagues including maintaining high professional standards in behaviour and practice across all services and developing leadership capability.
  • lead the national pathways team for Health in Justice and ensure the implementation of our strategy.

Qualifications required

  • Registration with the NMC or Allied Health Professional Body
  • Significant experience of working in a senior leadership role
  • Significant experience of leading and delivering change projects within health settings
  • Evidence of working collaboratively in a team with Clinical and Non-Clinical colleagues to deliver high standards of care
  • Operational skill with a focus on delivery through influence
  • Experience of implementing evidence-based practice /medical research in practice
