We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Regional to join our Yorkshire Region, supporting sites across West, South and North Yorkshire. The Yorkshire region is our largest within health in justice consisting of 10 prisons, HMP Leeds, HMP Wealstun, HMP Wakefield, HMP Askham Grange, HMP New Hall, HMP Full Sutton, HMP YOI Doncaster, HMP YOI Moorland, HMP Lindholme and HMP Hatfield. Within this role you will be working closely with an established senior leadership team including a Regional Manager and another deputy regional manager. 

 

Hours

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, some weekend cover when required

 

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £68,000 per annum - depending on experience. 

Plus £4,000 car allowance and 10% discretianary bonus

Main duties of the job

As our new Deputy Regional Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Heads of Healthcare, leading the team to provide innovative, energetic, patient focussed care
  • Ensuring that all healthcare is being run in line with CQC requirements 
  • Supporting mobilisations within the region, including before the contract start date, and the transition phase, ensuring that new sites are supported whilst they transition to PPG
  • Being responsible for all sites in terms of compliance, training and performance
  • Having line management and budget responsibility for the contracts you are accountable for 
  • Working with the wider regional team - supporting the team and implementing new innovations
  • Deputising for the Regional Manager as required

Qualifications required

  • Proven healthcare / custodial management experience
  • Experience of budgetary control
  • Experience of line management of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Service development & management
  • Management experience in a multi-site organisation
  • Experience of contract management and negotiation
  • Experience of Projects and or programme management

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience working regionally
