Are you a compassionate and driven physiotherapist with a passion for patient-centred care? Join our expert multi-disciplinary team as a Senior Physiotherapist and play a key role in supporting patients through their surgical recovery journey.
Youll be working across a variety of elective orthopaedic proceduresincluding total hip and knee replacements, ACL repairs, foot and shoulder proceduresproviding tailored pre- and post-operative rehabilitation to support patient discharge and long-term outcomes.
This role will involve working across both our Ilford and Loxford outpatient site, so you should be comfortable with working at both sites as needed.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced clinician to step into a senior role that values your autonomy, professional input, and leadership in driving best practice physiotherapy.
Main duties of the job
As our Physiotherapist, you will be -
- Delivering pre- and post-operative assessments and treatment for elective surgical patients in our outpatient service and both inpatient and day-case settings.
- Leading on clinical risk assessment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all care aligns with CSP and HCPC standards.
- Liaising closely with patients, carers, and other clinical professionals to deliver holistic, patient-focused care.
- Contributing to the supervision, teaching, and development of junior staff within the department.
- Participating in clinical governance, audits, and project work, continuously enhancing service quality.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of clinical developments and research in MSK and orthopaedics.
- Supporting a safe, inclusive, and therapeutic clinical environment, with consideration for equality and diversity.
About us
With your a Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy and registration with the HCPC, you will also have -
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a physiotherapy role, with a focus on MSK and orthopaedics
- Experience with clinical audits, change implementation, and working within governance frameworks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a busy clinical setting
- A proactive, flexible mindset with a commitment to ongoing professional development and delivering exceptional care
- Recognised postgraduate training in orthopaedic or MSK physiotherapy desirable
- Experience in a similar NHS or independent healthcare setting - desirable
- A salary of up to £44,000 depending on skills and experience
