We have an exciting opportunity for a Neurodiversity Practitioner to join our Mental Health team at HMP Gartree, a category B Prison located in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Hours
This a part-time role working 30 hours per week (7.5 hours a day, 4 days per week)
Monday to Friday - core working hours (8 - 6).
There is flexibility as to which days you would like to work.
Salary
You'll receive an annual salary up to £47,466 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Neurodiversity Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary.
- You'll provide direct and/or indirect support for those presenting with neurodiversity/ learning difficulties.
- You'll support for those with long-term neurological conditions such as Alzheimers and/or Dementia and will support the IMHT with training in relevant area.
- You'll be a lynch pin in the team, making a huge difference to our prisoners quality of life.

Requirements
- RMN, RNLD, Social Worker (Mental Health) or Occupational Therapist (Mental Health)
- Current professional registration with NMC,HCPC or equivalent
- Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
- Experience working with a neurodiversity patient group
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.

neurodiversity team will work as part of the wider healthcare teams such as

closely with our partners within the wider prison to ensure collaborative and
