Job summary
We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our growing team at the Devon Out of Hours (OOH) service on a Part Time Permanent basis. The Devon OOH service provides advice, information and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP surgery is closed. The OOH service operates throughout a number of locations within Devon so occasional travel will be required, however your main base will be in our office in Exeter. Within this job you'll be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in the running of Practice Plus Groups services throughout Devon OOH but specifically in our Exeter sites. You will ensure the delivery of a high quality service for Practice Plus Group patients by utilising resources whilst helping with monitoring and evaluating the performance of operational staff by conducting regular audits. Assisting with the recruitment, selection and training of new operational staff and providing the Operations Manager with reports when needed. This job is a Permanent Part Time position and we are looking for someone to work Approximately 10 hours a week As we we are an OOH service you will be required to work unsociable hours.
