We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of Healthcare to join our team at HMP YOI Foston Hall, a category  women's closed category prison and Young Offenders Institution located in located in the village of Foston in Derbyshire

Hours - The site currently offers Monday - Friday; 8am - 4pm 

Salary - This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £55,000 per annum - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

Main duties of the job

As a Deputy Head of Healthcare, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients by seeking out, listening to and acting on feedback so that patient engagement is at the centre of service delivery.
• Clinical or Non Clinical applications welcome.
• You will also provide day to day operational service delivery and data which has integrity, in a timely manner to meet commissioner expectations.
• Deliver non-judgemental, compassionate care within the financial framework that is safe, high quality and in line with CQC requirements.
• This will be achieved through adherence to policies and procedures and compliance with statutory responsibilities whilst driving excellence.

Qualifications required 

• Degree or appropriate equivalent level of experience or clinical qualification
• Inclusive leadership approach embedding a culture of continuous progression and innovation
• Significant experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience as a CQC registered manager, or equivalent registered body
• Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
