We have an exciting opportunity for a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our Substance Misuse team at HMP Full Sutton, a category category A men's Prison located in Full Sutton, York
This site is located in a rural location with their own parking on site, an on-site gym, caf, team building days and well-being events annually, regular 1-1's and good scope to develop.

Monday - Friday
37.5 hours per week
0800 - 1600 (can be flexible with start / finish times)Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £32346 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Be working with other members of the team that you are part of, assessing needs of patients and assessing risks accordingly. Whilst undertaking your role.
- Provide outstanding evidence based care to a case load of psycho social patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
- You will provide a programme of psycho social interventions, along with information and advice on substance misuse, alcohol, smoking cession, blood borne viruses and safe sex practices.

- Evidence of CPD
- Relevant degree/qualification or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and experience in the provision of structured psycho social interventions
- Experience of working within the substance misuse multi-disciplinary frame work, that includes housing, social care, healthcare, and mental health pathways
