UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE + make a difference for every patient We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough on a part time basis, working 25 hours per week between Monday and Sunday, Enhance payment will be paid for working weekends. - This is a fixed term contract to cover MAT leave and is expected to run until October. Mainly cleaning offices, stairs and corridors. Occasionally, you would be required to work in other areas, including our operating theatres and the main inpatients wards. As a vital member of the team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough. You will be required to ensure that all areas of the hospital are cleaned in accordance with the specification provided. You will maintain accurate records, report faulty equipment and ensure patient and public safety whilst working, using appropriate signage. Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings. Cleaning though out our hospital, following infection control guidelines and working to good high standards at all times.
Main duties of the job

- Ensuring that all areas of the centre are cleaned in accordance with the specification laid down for each room.
- Mop, dust and damp wipe all surfaces as appropriate and clean internal glass areas.
- Clean toilet areas including toilet pans, wash basins, floors and wiping walls as necessary
- Operate buffing/polishing/vacuum/carpet cleaning/laundry machinery in accordance with the training provided for each machine.
- Maintain daily record of areas cleaned.
