We have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our team here at HMP Bullingdon - a Category B male remand and resettlement prison near Bicester.
As our new Stock Controller, you will manage our inventory of medical supplies, ordering stock and managing deliveries. This is a new and exciting opportunity which you can really make your own! We want you to join us and show us what you can do! Hours: This is a full time role, working Monday - Friday. Shift patterns are ideally 07:30 - 15:30, however we can be flexible on this. Salary: This position is full time, and youll receive an annual salary of £24,924 - £27,582 - depending on experience. Main duties of the job
As our new Stock Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring minimums and maximums in the stock cupboards
- Working with department leads across all of healthcare to ensure they have the stock required
- Place orders with NHS supplies and other suppliers
- Manage inventory across the whole of healthcare
- Sourcing specialist stock for individual patients
- Regularly reviewing stock held in treatment rooms on the wings
- Checking off stock on arrival and ensuring it is stored safely
- Approving stock order invoices
- Being responsible for keeping track of the servicing of medical equipment and arranging service visits
- Assist the admin team on occasion if needed

- Experience of managing inventories or stock management
- Knowledge of stock / inventory management
