We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Gartree, a category B men's prison, located in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

Hours
Tues - Fri (22.5 hrs), from 08:30 - 16:30.
This is a part-time position working 3 days per week (Tues - Fri)
Salary
Youll receive an annual salary up to £64,471 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Advanced Clinical Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide ranging and complex patient problems
- Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team, This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including; mental health, and substance misuse practitioners
- Supporting senior clinicians on site you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients
- As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure; patient safety, the management of complex cases and ensure the most up to date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.

Qualifications required:
- Registered Nurse Adult Mental Health with current NMC or Registered Paramedic with current HCPC
- Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification
- MSc in Advanced Practice
- Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner following best practice guidance
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
