We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Rye Hill. HMP Rye Hill is a category B Prison located in Barby, Northamptonshire. The site currently houses around 650 patients with around 50% of these being over 50 years of age. Within this role you will be working as part of an established Pharmacy team covering ad hoc and regular shifts.

Shifts are based Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Salary

This a bank role with an hourly salary of £28.82 per hour

Main duties of the job

As the Bank Clinical Pharmacist your responsibilities will vary. You will:

• Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service
• Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring a safe and modern medicines management services
• Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

Qualifications & Experience

• Registered Pharmacist - holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Vocational Masters Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
• Relevant post qualification
• Having a prescribing qualification would be advantageous
