Job summary
Our Head of Nursing has a key leadership, assurance and management role at a senior level, and will provide clinical skills and knowledge to support the organisation in its delivery of care to patients. As our Head of Nursing, you have a core role in the delivery of high standards of clinical care, ensuring an environment that is conducive to the well-being of both staff and patients whilst contributing to effective budgetary management.
Working alongside our experienced Hospital Director, you will aid in the organisation of clinical strategies and models of care ensuring the delivery of high quality, patient focused, safe and effective care which meets the highest clinical standards and outcomes. Ensuring that our patients receive excellent clinical outcomes and have high patient satisfaction.
You will also help the Group Director of Nursing to develop and deliver a robust framework for clinical governance. This will involve monitoring clinical outcomes and analysing and interpreting data for KPIs, Clinical Risk and Audit which relates to the Practice Plus Group Governance programme
You will have extensive experience of general clinical management and experience in a multi-site role. You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of patient centred healthcare, working as part of a multi-professional team while taking overall clinical responsibility for all clinical staff.

About You
You will be a registered NMC Nurse or HPCP registered with:
- Considerable experience in an equivalent role in the acute/independent sector
- Budgetary and financial management experience
- Development of nurses/Allied health professionals in their practice
- Demonstrable achievements in improving patient care, being forward thinking and innovative
- Redesigning practices using a wide range of evidence bases
- Experience in meeting CQC/ regulatory requirements
