We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to be the one of the first to join our team at HMP Millsike, a Category B men's prison, located in the village of Full Sutton near York

HMP Millsike will have an operational capacity of 1500 people who will spend their sentences learning the skills they need to find work on release as part of the governments drive to cut reoffending. The prison site is currently under construction and Practice Plus Group were recently awarded the healthcare contract to begin delivering services in April 2025.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a new healthcare team from the inception of a brand new prison site.

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary of between £35,700 and £40,425 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As our new Business Admin Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Having responsibility for the busy admin team - providing line management and leadership to the team
• Ensure that admin services are being delivered efficiently and effectively, to the highest possible standard
• Be responsible for data and reporting for the healthcare team using SystmOne and Excel
• Supporting the Head of Healthcare as necessary

Our new Business Admin Manager will ideally have:

• Previous management or leadership experience - this is a management position so we are looking for someone who had led a team before
• The ability to delegate effectively
• Any experience using SystmOne would be beneficial.
• Good IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word etc)
• Confident in using data, maintaining databases and producing reports
