We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to join the team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a category B male prison located in West London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small team onsite, and work alongside the Admin Manager, supporting the wider healthcare team on site, ensuring that patients receive the best quality care, and the healthcare team are fully supported. Hours: This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00. Salary: This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary of £36,750 per annum - depending on experience. Main duties of the job
As our new Business Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Having responsibility for the Medical Secretary and Porter - providing line management and leadership to the team
- Ensure that services are being delivered efficiently and effectively, to the highest possible standard
- Be responsible for data and reporting for the healthcare team using SystmOne and Excel
- Manage effective, patient centred services, including clinical administration
- Supporting the Head of Healthcare as necessary

Our new Business Manager will ideally have:
- Previous management or leadership experience - this is a management position so we are looking for someone who had lead a team before
- The ability to delegate effectively
- Any experience using SystmOne would be beneficial!
- Good IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word etc)
- Confident in using data, maintaining databases and producing reports
