It has an operational capacity of around 400. The prison is located in the City Centre and is a 15-minute walk from the station Shift hours This role will offer flexible shift patterns Salary This position is part time 18.75 hours, youll receive an annual salary up to 27,195 per annum FTE- depending on experience. Main duties of the job
As a Pharmacy Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Complete general dispensary duties and stock management
- Be working as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team to ensure delivery of the pharmaceutical service.
- Provide a timely and efficient service to the prison wings
- Receive prescriptions and stick returns from wing based clinical areas
- Collect orders from suppliers from the Main Gate and arrange collection of return

Qualifications required
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills/equivalent or working towards
- Medicines handing experience desirable not essential
- Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
