Practice Plus Group have an exciting opportunity for a Neurodiversity Specialist Team Leader with a passion for the field of neurodiversity/LD/neurology/complex care. This role offers the opportunity for wide-ranging development working as part of an Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) working within a Trauma Informed Care Approach

Hours

The site currently offers a flexible work pattern between Monday-Sunday, 7.5 hour days ( days to be discussed with successful candidate)

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to 46,200 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

  As a Neurodiversity Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • You'll provide direct and/or indirect support for those presenting with neurodiversity/ learning difficulties,
  • You'll support for those with long-term neurological conditions such as Alzheimers and/or Dementia and will support the IMHT with training in relevant area
  • You'll be a lynch pin in the team, making a huge difference to our prisoners quality of life.

  • You'll be a qualified RMN/RNLD and hold a current NMC registration
  • You will be responsible for assessment, care coordination and triage of complex care; you will be required to support the management of complex prisoners who may have social or environmental needs
  • You will have responsibility for care quality performance and clinical activity by providing professional clinical leadership and guidance, clinical advice and management.
