HM Prison Highpoint South is a Category C men's prison, located in the village of Stradishall in Suffolk, England
As a Registered Nurse (Adult) youll be an integral part of the healthcare team at HMP Highpoint by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency. Within this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions. Working hours working 3-4 days over a 7 day period between the hours of 07:45 - 18:15 This position is full time an youll receive an annual salary up to 38115 per annum depending on experience.Main duties of the job
You will be a Registered Nurse (Adult), NMC qualified and will have evidence of continued professional development throughout your clinical career thus far. Having an understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working, coupled with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach will enable you to succeed in this role, as well as a proactive approach to problem solving. To be successful in this role you will have:
- Qualified Nurse
- NMC Registered
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
- Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
