As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will be involved in the implementation of clinical care packages, phlebotomy and assessment, treatment and the evaluation of patients care. You will support and assist patients with the activities of daily living, work with the Pharmacy Team to help them fulfil their daily tasks and you will be encouraged to take the lead on well-being promotion clinics.
You will support the registered nurse and operating department practitioner in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care and to be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.Main duties of the job

We are ideally looking for someone who has experience of working in a Health Care Assistant role or similar.

HMP Highpoint is a Category C men's prison over 2 sites in West Suffolk on the A143, located near to Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and Cambridge. Working shift patterns cover a variety of hours between 07:45 18:15. The site has departments for Primary Care, Mental Health, Substance misuse and a Registered Pharmacy.
