As a Registered Primary Care Nurse (Adult Nurse) you will be an integral part of the healthcare team by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from triaging and leading clinics, reception screening, medication administration as well as responding to emergency situations. Its not just the environment thats varied here, the role is too. Across everything you do, youll maintain accurate records and provide the kind of helpful, empathetic support that will make every patient feel at ease.
Main duties of the job
You will have a real passion for developing your clinical skills in an environment that is ever-changing. If you are self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing plenty of initiative when it comes to handling a wide range of situations, then this could be the right role for you!
You should possess a good working knowledge of conducting risk assessments and care planning as well as someone who is creative and forward-thinking to work through the issues that may arise in this challenging but exciting environment. Knowledge in therapeutic interventions such as CBT or Steps to Wellbeing is desirable but transferable clinical skills will be considered with appropriate training provided.Interested in clinical development?

HMP Highpoint is a category C adult male prison for sentenced prisoners, holding up to 1323 men across 15 residential units. The prison site is split across two sites - North and South.
