We are looking to recruit flexible, enthusiastic individuals to work in our prison healthcare service at HMP Wormwood Scrubs. This is a full time role, working 10 sessions a week, for 40 hours.
As part of this role, you will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. You will also provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities. You will be pivotal in engaging the clinical workforce to support the delivery of the organisations objectives, and will have the chance to further develop your clinical and medical skills.
Main duties of the job
We recognise training and development is key, therefore we provide a training portal to facilitate your needs as well as have an in-depth induction for all staff whether you have experience of working in prisons or not. You will gain insight into Mental Health and Substance Misuse, as well as access to a variety of training opportunities.
