We deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldnt usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment.

As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. You will also provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.

Main duties of the job

Applicants must have current GMC registration. You will gain insight into Mental Health and Substance Misuse, as well as access to a variety of training opportunities with the opportunity to work towards your RCGP level 2 and other qualifications should you wish.

Youll receive an annual salary up to 118,125 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

About us

HMP Doncaster is a category B local resettlement prison situated in South Yorkshire. Doncaster houses a male population of up to 1145 individuals, approximately 200 of whom are young offenders aged 18-20.

The dedicated team in the Health in Justice division of Practice Plus Group make a real difference across over 45 prisons, young offenders and immigration removal centres.
