Job summary

Where your work helps shape the healthcare of tomorrow   As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for promoting the services of Practice Plus Group (PPG) Hospital Southampton and delivering referral and market share targets.   This will be done by directly influencing patients, GPs, practice managers, Referral Management Centres and other key stakeholders in order to increase referrals and raise awareness of Practice Plus Groups offer for self-pay, privately insured patients, and NHS patients.   You will have a complete understanding of the local territory (customers, market, and sales data) and the location of all target customers. They will work closely with Hospital Director, Senior Finance Manager, Operations Manager, Private Healthcare Lead and the Central Marketing Team to promote PPG Southampton.   + Car Allowance & bonus scheme (to be discussed at interview)

Main duties of the job

You will have

  • Excellent commercial awareness and a proven track record of developing and managing long lasting relationships with stakeholders.
  • An interpersonal, analytical and proactive approach will distinguish you from the competition and ensure Practice Plus Group are the preferred choice for potential referrals.
  • The desire to influence positive change within the business will put you in good stead to be successful in this role.
  • You will ideally have relevant experience in the healthcare sector and a working knowledge of the healthcare economy.
A full UK driving license and flexibility to travel within the surrounding area will be necessary.   What you can expect in return
