As a Deputy Head of Healthcare with Practice Plus Group you will deputise for the Head of Healthcare in all aspects of their role. You will be responsible in partnership with the Head of Healthcare for the effective day-to-day operational management of all clinical services across the prisons. As well as support the management of all service level agreements, ensuring performance-monitoring standards are adhered to and the highest standards of care are maintained.

Practice Plus Group operate as an integrated team approach to peer support and standardisation of practice. The main aim as the healthcare provider within Health in Justice is to work in partnership with discipline staff and colleagues to enable the offering of high quality healthcare services to best support the residents that are equivalent to those delivered in the community. As a member of the wider management team in HMP New Hall, you will be responsible for providing the day to day clinical and operational management of our diverse healthcare teams within National and Local Guidance.

Main duties of the job

You will be able to provide evidence of your leadership ability and will have undertaken management training, with an understanding of clinical governance and staff management. The role would ideally suit an individual who is passionate about delivering and driving forward high standards of care and service delivery and has the ability to promote and inspire the workforce though robust clinical supervision and professional development.

Youll receive an annual salary up to 51,610 per annum - depending on experience.

HMP New Hall is a closed-category prison for females. The prison is located in the village of Flockton in West Yorkshire
