If you answered yes to these then look no further. About the Job An opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse / Clinical Practitioner to join our fantastic team at The Junction Health Centre. The Centre is open 7 days per week between 8am-8pm. This is a Full Time Permanent role, giving you full access to everything we have to offer. We are situated directly outside Clapham Junction Train Station and we have onsite parking. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner you will be utilising expert diagnostic and clinical skills to provide autonomous, unscheduled medical care and management of patients presenting with acute undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions, complex health needs and /or long term conditions. You will be required to work within Clinical Guidelines, Policies, Procedures and utilising expert judgment to work outside these frameworks where necessary. You must be able to Prescribe, within professional competence. This role will be working across both general practice and the hub service on an ad hoc bank basis and you will play an integral role in delivering a high quality service to our patients.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities As an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner, youll be vital to the Units success, assessing, diagnosing, treating and discharging patients autonomously every day. As well as ordering investigations and interpreting results, youll be responsible for providing an excellent standard of patient care and health promotion to the general public. What we'll need from you
- Be an autonomous Nurse Practitioner with a patient assessment qualification and recent work experience within a Primary/Urgent Care environment
- Hold an independent prescribing qualification
- Hold an NMC Pin
- Experience in management long term conditions
