As a Registered Adult Nurse, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team and will be involved in everything from clinical triage to the evaluation of patient care and standards. Youll carry out and potentially develop nurse-led clinics, reviewing patients histories, undertaking relevant examinations and tests, organising any necessary treatment, and referring patients to other healthcare professionals when you need to.

You will also be working as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, alongside the substance misuse and mental health teams. You will have an interest in Substance Misuse and have had some exposure to this environment.

About us

HMP Eastwood Park is a women's closed category prison, located in the village of Falfield in South Gloucestershire with an operational capacity of 442 adult females. HMP Eastwood Park is based 17 miles north of Bristol, 20 miles south of Gloucester, 30 miles west from Cirencester and 30 miles east from Newport in South Wales with good transport links via the M5 and the A38.

The dedicated team in the Health in Justice division of Practice Plus Group make a real difference across over 45 prisons, young offenders and immigration removal centres.
