Derwentside IRC are looking for an Administrator to contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site. The role will include working within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, general office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning, faxing etc.Main duties of the job

About us
Derwentside IRC is a female only Immigration Removal Centre based in Consett, County Durham, England. It has an operational capacity of up to 80 women, and is a 25 minute drive to Durham, and is 30 minutes from Newcastle upon Tyne.
Practice Plus Group were recently awarded the healthcare contract at Derwentside IRC and will begin delivering services in October 2023. We are the Health in Justice Market leader, providing healthcare services to offenders across the country. Our model of care is our Wellbeing Approach an integrated, comprehensive approach in recognition of the fact prisoners are a socially-excluded group with healthcare needs which are complex and often associated with poor outcomes. It adopts the premise no single health/wellbeing factor can be taken in isolation of other motivational issues which might impact a persons care.
