Job summary
New ways to improve our patient experience If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant with a passion for making the patient journey as comfortable as possible we have just the role for you. As a Health Care Assistant at Practice Plus Group Ophthalmology, North West, youll provide support to the nursing staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of a high standard of care to patients in a safe and caring environment. This will involve working with our Ophthalmic Nurses in outpatients and theatre. Above all, you have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work can be hard, but also fun and rewarding. NB: This role is a FTC to cover maternity leave for 10 months, working 30hrs per week.
Main duties of the job
The ideal applicant will have
- You will have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and be willing to undertake training to gain further clinical skills.
- Experience or a good understanding of a HCA duties and responsibilities
- The ability to receive and communicate information accurately and take instruction from professional colleagues.
